As we celebrate HR Professional Day, we want to take a moment to recognize and honor our very own Jey Greenwood, Director of HR at Eastern Healthcare Group. Since joining us in April 2024, Jey has quickly become an invaluable part of our Eastern family, bringing her energy, passion, and wealth of experience to the team.
A Glimpse into Jey’s Personal Life
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Jey now calls Norfolk, Virginia home. Outside of work, she’s a dedicated sports fan with a special love for football. When she’s not cheering on her favorite teams, Jey is learning the art of golf—another exciting challenge she’s taking on! She also shares her home with Lady, her adorable long-haired chihuahua, who’s sure to steal your heart.
Professional Journey
Jey brings over 10 years of HR experience, primarily in healthcare, but also from the hospitality field. Her diverse background helps her bring unique insights to her role at Eastern Healthcare Group. A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Liberal Arts, Jey is currently furthering her education, pursuing a degree in Psychology. Her commitment to continuous learning and growth is inspiring, and it perfectly aligns with her role as a leader in HR.

Jey is deeply passionate about creating a positive, engaging environment for our employees. She’s dedicated to enhancing the employee experience by designing a more welcoming and streamlined onboarding process, ensuring that new hires feel valued and supported from day one.
In addition to improving the onboarding experience, Jey is focused on increasing employee engagement by encouraging leadership teams to conduct regular check-ins. By fostering open communication and stronger relationships, she aims to create a workplace culture where employees feel heard and appreciated.
